Government-funded student outcomes 2018 summary findings

6 December 2018 This data is part of the VET student outcomes collection

This product provides information on key measures at a national level by personal and training characteristics for students who completed their government-funded VET during 2017. The margin of error, at a 95% confidence level, is presented for all survey estimates.

The findings relate to students who were awarded a qualification (graduates), or who successfully completed part of a course and then left the VET system (subject completers). Key measures include employment and further study outcomes, satisfaction with the training, benefits of training, reason for not continuing the training (where applicable) and improved employment status after training.

The figures in this publication are derived from the 2018 National Student Outcomes Survey.
