Data
This product presents the tables from the publication Employers' use and views of the VET system 2019 in Excel format. 95% margin of error is also presented. The figures in this publication are derived from the Survey of employers' use and views of the VET System. The survey was conducted between February and June 2019 and the results relate to employers’ training experiences in the 12 months preceding their interview.
The findings relate to the various ways in which Australian employers use the VET system and unaccredited training to meet their skill needs and their satisfaction with these methods of training. The product also looks at whether the organisation had experienced any recruitment difficulties in the last 12 months.
Key findings are presented for 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019. For all other tables, comparative data for 2017 and 2019 are presented where possible. These tables include information on each type of training by state, industry and employer size, as well as 95% margin of error for estimates in the tables.
