Description
This classification is made available in electronic format to assist those organisations providing data compliant with AVETMISS. The Country (of birth) Identifier classification uniquely identifies the country of birth of a client. A country coding index has been developed to assist in the use and implementation of the country classification. It contains a comprehensive list of the most probable responses to the question about country of birth.
Files are supplied as tab delimited text format files and should be saved to your computer before opening. Select 'Save As' from the File menu if your browser displays rather than downloads.
These files should be opened in a text editor. Do not open in Excel, as this application will strip the leading zeros from the files.
