The VDS Program is a collaborative effort involving Commonwealth, state and territory training authorities, the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER), and VET sector regulators.

VDS Developer Portal
The VDS Developer Portal is a technical resource designed to assist Student Management System vendors, and other relevant stakeholders with their own systems, to connect with VDS APIs.
The VDS Developer Portal does not contain information about other aspects of the VDS Program.
Register/login to the VDS Developer Portal
To register for the VDS Developer Portal, use the link below and complete the registration form. Please be aware that it may take up to five business days to create your account.
Once you have registered and received your login credentials, you can log into the VDS Developer Portal using the link below.

VET Information Standard
The VET Information Standard is a new data standard for the sector, which will eventually replace the current AVETMISS VET Provider 8.0 Collection specifications. This new standard aims to modernise data collection and reporting in VET, supporting more frequent updates to student academic transcripts and providing enhanced insights for government policy and the training market.

VDS Program Showcases
The VDS Program runs showcases every 10 weeks, which are open to all members of the VET sector. Showcases contain program updates, opportunities for people to submit questions and to demonstrate program products. Register for VDS Program Showcases here.
