Effective teaching and learning: teacher perspectives on what works

What's going on with student outcomes?

Facilitated by John King, NCVER with panelists Peita Davis (Director Skills, Education and Research at Business Council of Australia), Mary Faraone (Chair of TAFE Directors Australia and Chief Executive of Holmesglen Institute) and Felix Pirie (Chief Executive Officer at ITECA) on Wednesday 25 February 2025.

This expert panel discussed the latest findings from NCVER’s National Student Outcomes Survey, exploring differences in employment and further study outcomes for those who complete and part-complete VET qualification, reasons why some students don't complete their training, the benefits gained by those who complete VET subjects and more.
